When AffiniPay was founded, many associations were just beginning to consider credit card acceptance and online payments for the first time. For many groups the move from spreadsheets and mailed-in dues was a major adjustment. AffiniPay is proud to have partnered with thousands of organizations in their transition to a modern payment solution.

Over the last ten years, our staff has gained valuable experience and knowledge regarding payment best practices, various association management platforms, and the other unique needs that come with running a professional organization. In addition, we have built a proprietary payment system that exceeds all standard security requirements, ensuring our associations and their members are protected. This combination of technology and experience has made us one of the leading payment companies in the association industry.

Meet the AffiniPay management team.


Stephen Perez

Stephen leads our talented in-house Software Development team. His team created our proprietary AffiniPay application, which provides a modern, simple, and friendly interface specifically for associations. Their highest priority is to ensure your transactions are safe, secure, and PCI compliant.


Finance and HR

Erin Brooks

Erin and her team oversee the financial and accounting functions for AffiniPay. Erin also serves as the company’s Human Resources Director. In this role, she ensures the members of our team uphold the high quality and standard of service you have come to expect from AffiniPay.



Mike Mitchell

Mike leads the support team to ensure your association has an exceptional AffiniPay experience. This group includes: New Client Services, Technical Support, and Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance. The support team is currently responsible for over 30,000 clients and growing every day.



Janelle Benefield

Janelle leads our team of professional Account Managers who consult and advise new clients on the AffiniPay solution. In addition, Janelle works with our training team to educate association leaders through classes and webinars on payment best practices, PCI Compliance, and chargeback prevention.



Tracey Gavin

Tracey leads our team of creative professionals to develop and promote the AffiniPay brand. Her team also supports over 150 partnerships and endorsements. Her responsibilities include managing AffiniPay’s member benefit programs and coordinating almost 200 events per year.



John Porter

John is responsible for the company’s business development activities including integrated partnerships, corporate development, and other strategic initiatives. John also collaborates with the various AffiniPay departments to seamlessly and efficiently execute the company’s vision.
